The Spectrum Z510 Full Color System produces high-definition, full-color prototypes quickly and affordably. Superior inkjet printing technology creates parts with crisply defined features, enhanced accuracy, and precise color, so you can print and evaluate physical models of design concepts in their nearly finished state. Rapid 3D printing of high-definition models means you no longer have to wait for prototypes. This unique, 24-bit color, 3D printing capability produces color models that accurately reflect your original design data. Color models communicate more information than any other type of rapid prototype, providing you with a strategic advantage in product development.

     ZPrinter 810                               Price    Download

The Z810 System is the fastest and least expensive way to create large appearance prototypes for design review, mock-ups for form and fit testing, and patterns for casting applications. The large build volume allows you to print full-scale concept models for more effective communication with marketing, manufacturing, customers and suppliers. The Z810 System's color capability allows accurate representation of designs including FEA and other engineering data, further enhancing communication. Physical models can be created in plaster or starch-based materials and can be infiltrated to produce parts with a variety of material properties, satisfying a wide spectrum of modeling needs.

ZCast                                           Price    Download

The ZCast Direct Metal Casting process provides the ability to produce cast metal parts from a CAD file significantly faster and less expensively than traditional prototype casting methods. The process involves printing molds and cores on a 3D Printer directly from digital data, eliminating the pattern and core box production step in the traditional sand casting process. Metal is then poured into the 3D printed molds. The technology allows engineers to prototype parts in metal that were previously cost and time prohibitive.

The ZCast Process guarantees:

  • Extremely fast turnaround from CAD file to prototype metal part

  • Ability to print complex molds and cores

  • In-house mold making capabilities for product manufacturers

Simple metal pouring process for foundries

3D Digitizer                          Price    Download

3D scanning (or 3D digitizing) involves creating a digital version of a physical object. Properties of an object that can be captured during scanning include: shape, size, color and texture. Scanning allows a copy of a physical object to be represented electronically; then the electronic version to be manipulated in ways the physical version cannot. An electronic model can be kept on a computer's hard drive, e-mailed to a co-worker, animated for use in a simulation, or used as a template for making physical reproductions. There are many applications for 3D digitizing. Just a few are featured in the gallery examples below.

- Reverse engineering – to get data from existing parts in cases where the specifications no longer exist or are unavailable
- Part inspection – determine if a part meets design intent
- Rapid prototyping –to capture data quickly from a designer's model during the product development cycle
- Character creation from physical sculptures
- Mold making – for capturing data from a pre-existing part to prepare a new mold for manufacturing
- Models for use in games, movies, broadcast, Web sites and CD-ROMs
- Scientific visualization
- Artistic visualization.
